The apartment comprises two double bedrooms, a dining room, a kitchen, a hallway, and a bathroom. All rooms have been renovated and are equipped with high-quality materials and furniture. The bedrooms feature blackout blinds. Bed linen (Allergic-Friendly), towels, and WiFi are included. The fully equipped kitchen allows for meal preparation. The apartment is located in the former school building and has a separate entrance at the back, which is used exclusively by guests. The hosts live in the adjacent building.
Lannavaara is a peaceful village located about an hour from the Finnish border. It is situated off the main road and is unique in terms of tranquility. The accommodation is in the village's former school building atop a small hill, offering a breathtaking view of the landscape and the Lainio River. The village is characterized by its spectacular setting by the river and offers access to a lake within a 2 km walking distance. There is a small supermarket in approx 500 meters. Various activities are available depending on the season. In winter, you can book numerous adventures like snowmobile and husky sled tours at nearby lodges. Additionally, Lannavaara is a significant location for geology. At Kristallen AB, you can take courses in stone cutting, jewelry making, and gold panning, and visit the local museum and shop. The region is a paradise for nature lovers, hikers, and anglers, with day licenses for fishing available for purchase.
