We come again and again when we travel to Serbia. This time we could use the spa and enjoyed an excellent massage. The stuff was very nice and we could also change the room as we wanted a room with less electromagnetiv radiation. The first one was opposite to a mobile antenna on the roof of the neighbour building. Breakfast as always: wonderful. What we also enjoy every time is the piano player in the restaurant. The cafe with all the lovely cases is something that visitors should not miss. It is a perfect starting point for sightseeing in the city. There is a parking house around the corner.

They do as much as possible at the hotel to make one feel welcome with a huge buffet breakfast plus with Executive rooms you get access to their VIP lounge which provided a quiet space and food away from the room. Great idea.

Nice city, friendly, much alive during the weekend, many things to visit. Not easy to get to the center from the airport (I took A1 for 4€ then bus 31) but asking around I figured it out. Cheap and good food!

Its really a good city to visit. 2-3 days of stay is sufficient for Beograd trip. Don't ever come in a summer months as it will be very hot. Ideal time might be in the transition months of winter to summer or end of summer. Clean and Safe city for any type of traveler.

Belgrade was a breath of fresh air, culturally vibrant, walkable, interesting, with a very friendly chill vibe. cafes, vendors, buskers all the things that make traveling wonderful. I hesitate to gush too much about Belgrade, because I don't exactly want everyone to descend upon this place & turn it into a place overrun by tourists. The City of Belgrade belongs to the Serbians, it is a city the Serbians enjoy & it is the Serbians & their culture that make it lovely.

Anyone looking for new locations for city breaks should try Belgrade. Food and drink is still relatively cheap. Getting around the city is easy. Lots of places to visit such as Kalemegdan fortress, Skadarlija (the old boehmian street - Sesir Moj is a nice restaurrant and is one of my favourites) St Sava Temple. For children and families Ada Ciganlija (Belgrade Beach) many museums including the Nikola Tesla museum and numerous parks around the city as well as other historical buildings. For something a little more upmarket there's Belgrade Waterfront with cafes and restaurants as well as a shopping mall.

Belgrade, like most capital cities has a lot to see and do.
Belgrade, like most capital cities has a lot to see and do. I had the benefit of a local guide so really got out to see a lot. I'm certainly going back again and using it as a base to explore more. It's not as cheap as the rest of the country but still less than you would expect in a European capital.
You can get around Belgrade using trams, buses, on foot and in taxis. Be wary of the unregistered taxis and used the hotel recommendations and call the taxi company.
The people were very friendly and always helpful. They mostly speak English except the elderly.
There are plenty of places to eat though not many offer Serbian specialities. Serbian food is excellent by the way. There are coffee bars by the dozen. Meeting and drinking in coffee bars is the Serbian way!
This was the best place to visit Serbia for the first time. I have been felt at home, family with the hotel facilities and the owner. Everyone was helpful, friendly and an excellent person. Unfortunately, we booked this hotel just for 3 days, and then it was fully booked. We were obligated to leave this place, but I will come back there if I will stay in Belgrade. Thanks to Aleksandar Djordjević, Chupo and Lilya for this high level of hospitality in such as small good place.
One of the best hotel in Belgrade, Staff was very much courteous, and they go the extra mile to help you and serve you. We got a free upgrade to the suite room which was fantastic. Special thanks to manager Uros who has taken very good care of us while we stayed there. We had 2 days booking there and 2 days in Hilton, we loved it so much that we cancelled the Hilton and stayed 2 more days at Metropol. If you are traveling to Belgrade this is must book hotel.
Cosy hotel in a quiet street at the heart of the old town of Belgrade. We booked a couple of rooms with friends- all the rooms were perfectly clean, well equipped and with comfortable furniture. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is at walking distance from the city center, the rivers, restaurants and bars. We recommend staying at the hotel for your family or business trip to Belgrade.
