T House is located in the old center of Sibiu. The house was build around the years 1820 and completed restored in 2019. We provide accommodation in studio units and apartment units that can be booked separately or together. T House units are each equipped with an individual bathroom and have a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, electric hob, toaster, kettle, krups nescafe espresso machine and AC. Towels and toiletries are provided. Free WiFi internet access is provided. T House offers guests free coffee, tea and bottled water.
House T is a building with a history of over two centuries. The building preserves the specific architecture of Sibiu and is one of the few that survived in the area partially destroyed by the dictator Nicolae Ceausescu between 1987 and 1989. House T was scheduled for demolition in January 1990, that is in the month immediately following December 1989, when the communists fell from power in Romania, during the bloodiest European revolution of modern times. With the victory of the people over the dictatorship, it was rescued from the imminent destruction and the T house, but also some other buildings in the area. House T was completely refurbished in 2019. From an architectural and design point of view, it combines elements of its age with modern comfort and details. In this way, at the T house you will have a relaxing stay in a building that perfectly combines history and tradition with the advantages of the latest technologies. House T is built to be energy efficient, each unit is equipped with thermostats that can be adjusted independently, but also with an electrical system that automatically closes at the guest's exit.
House T is ideally located, less than 10 minutes from Piața Mare and Piața Mică. In this way, it responds perfectly to those who want to stay close to the center, but not to be disturbed by the jest and crowding there. 5 minutes from the T house is the newest and most modern mall inaugurated in this part of Romania- Promenada festival mall, but also Sibiu train station, bus station and taxi stations. One hundred meters from the T house there is a large capacity public car park which is free, but also a non-stop food shop. In case of emergencies, a non-stop pharmacy is open 24/24 less than 10 minutes walk away,.
