Belonging to our family for six generations an old barn surrounded by gardens and orchards was carefully rebuilt in 2017 and adapted into two contemporary guest houses breathing history and tradition. The architectural project, interiors, and furniture were designed by Mezzo Atelier which has also involved local artisans into the production process of custom made furniture and objects.Pink house offers wide opens spaces spread over two floors with a simple contemporary aesthetics, allowing the rural and timeless character of the pre-existing barn to remain. The house accommodates five to seven people. The two bedrooms are located on the ground floor while the living room and kitchen are on the 1st floor, opening up to an upper terrace. Our 30sq. cosy private suite offers an equipped kitchenette and an open living and dining room and is ideal for couples or small families. The bedroom and living area are divided by custom made wooden furniture so we could keep the space open and full on natural light. The suite also offers a private terrace with outdoor furniture. Our guests can enjoy the tranquility, calm and natural rhythms of our gardens, orchards, lawns or inner woods while

Pink House is located on the rural outskirts of the city of Ponta Delgada. Even tough it is very close to the city center, (about 6 km or 10 to 15 minutes by car) you feel like you are away from urban areas as it's so peaceful and relaxing with all the gardens and orchards around. To reach the house there are a few typical narrow streets with lava stone walls to pass, so you can arrive to our well hidden paradise. On your way to Pink House you'll pass by the most famous pineapple greenhouses where it's possible to see and understand the fruits growth process.
