Thanks for choosing Geronimo Guest House Belém. We will try to provide you the best experience in Lisbon. We hope you will be so confortable as you are at your own home. All suites are equipped with Air Conditioning, cable television , Minibar (no drinks available), fast Wifi , Safe and Hair Dryer. The common areas of the property are shared with the owner, his family and his pets. The garden of about 160 m2, has an outdoor Jacuzzi and several areas where you can relax, drink your coffee or tea or enjoy the sun and listen to the sound of nature. Breakfast is not served because there is a very rich and varied offer 2 minutes away, starting with the famous and old "Pastéis de Belém", to the latest Portuguese Bakery. In the neighborhood there is also a very rich and varied offer of restaurants, some more traditional and intimate and others more generalists. Some of the paintings that decorate the suites and common areas were provided by the owner of the house and others were painted by the Portuguesese artist Liliana Oliveira and can be purchased, if you wish so.

GERÓNIMO’S GUEST HOUSE BELÉM is the product of a renovation of a traditional Portuguese family’s home into a small, cozy, intimate and inviting lodge, located in the center of Belém and less than two minutes away (walking distance) from both Jerónimos Monastery and the margins of the Tagus river. All the original furniture and décor have been kept and rehabilitated to create a singular experience in each of the five suites. The Lisbon Suite aims to recreate the ambiance of the Portuguese capital in the late nineteenth century. The Porto Suite shows us the atmosphere of Portugal’s second biggest city in the early 80's and what it was all about at the time: design, fashion, cars and music. Tavira, a lesser-known Portuguese town on the Eastern Algarve coastline with maritime traditions and beautiful beaches takes us to the southern seashore and it’s oceanic breeze of fresh air. At the Benguela suite we invite our guests to understand the underlying connection between Portugal and Angola and in particular with the province of Benguela, where Portuguese settlers arrived in 1578. At the Macau suite, we get to visit the orient, being this the furthest place Portuguese ever been.
