Located at the foot of the Serra da Lousã, the small village of Sarnadas. Nestled in the valley next to the river, our house is surrounded by meadows, a garden and a terrace with countless flowers that attract butterflies and birds. As a result, you will experience the reconection with nature here. The ideal place to completely relax! The sun-heated swimming pool, with a spacious terrace and sun loungers, overlooks the river. It's also accessible for a cool dip or a natural massage through the mighty waterfalls! The house was originally a farm and adjoining houses are now our guest houses. I live in the main house myself, separate from the holiday accommodation, so each has its own private feel. The garden with pool and lounge terrace is a shared space. The 2 bedroom cottage (lavender) has two floors, of which the upper floor has an attic (see photo), the living area and the open kitchen. On the ground floor there is a bathroom and another bed. The room with bathroom (hortensia) does not have a kitchen. The 3 bedroom house (mimosa) also has 2 floors with the kitchen with living area and a separate bedroom on the top floor. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms and the bathroom. Both houses have access from the upper floor next to the street and from the lower floor to the garden and terrace. in short, a unique location in this region. The previous owners were a couple from the Netherlands which decorated beautifully the houses and added some beautiful forniture from that country.

My name is Ruth. I lived for the last 18 years in Portugal even I born and raised in Spain and now my heart is deeply connected with this beautiful country. One of my passions is nature, which is abundant here and also yoga and arts. We will be also offering at specific dates retreats of yoga and meditation here. On the edge of Serra da Lousã, there are many opportunities for walks and places of interest. The beach paradise of Praia das Rocas is also close by, but if you prefer a little more peace and quiet, there are also river beaches within easy reach.
