A 3-bedroom, superior quality modern Pousada (boutique-style guest house), single-level, south-facing and overlooking the lovely Douro River and Valley with mountains as a backdrop. The Casa is a 70-minute drive from Porto, secluded and located on a cul-de-sac in an environmentally protected region and is fully equipped with first class amenities including Smart TV in both the Living and Dining rooms and in all Guest rooms. All bedrooms have direct private walkout access to the salt-water infinity pool (14m in length, 1-2m in depth), comfortable furnishings throughout the house including a Games Room, Infinity pool and a big garden area. The location is in the famous Douro wine country offering guests very quiet, secluded surroundings, magnificent views and easy access to several small, historical cities including Amarante, Regua, Pinhão and Lamego. For explorers there are several walks close by including a short stretch of a Roman-built road in the wooded hills to the rear of the house, a monastery dating from the Middle Ages in the closest village (Ancede) and a well-preserved Dolmen at a short driving distance(Baião). A variety of shops, supermarkets and restaurants can be found in nearby villages and towns.
