Our journey together started on a tiny Cambodian island, where we—an Italian and an Azorean—met while running a glamping retreat and guesthouse. Life led us back to Europe, and now we couldn’t be happier to call São Miguel our home. This island is a paradise for nature lovers, with lush forests, volcanic lakes, and stunning ocean views, as well as a community of warm, welcoming people. We’re excited to share all of this with you. Leonardo has spent years traveling the world, always drawn to nature and cultures that inspire him to stay awhile and soak in local life. For Nivalda, as a psychologist, meeting new people and creating a truly welcoming space is a joy.
