Muczne is a beautiful village placed at the very heart of Bieszczady, just about 2,5 h drive from the nearest airport (Rzeszow). It is set at the base of Bukowe Berdo mountain, seen by many as the most beautiful in the whole Bieszczady area. It is a paradise for those who are looking for a place with forgotten paths, silence, and beautiful surroundings. Seeing a wolf, deer, bear, or lynx crossing your road is nothing unusual here, so don't forget your camera! There is a nationwide known bison sanctuary, beavers observation point, plenty of running/biking paths, educational centre, and many more. In the early 80' Muczne was a closed area, where only the high profile politicians were allowed. It was visited, inter alia, by former Yugoslavian leader Josip Tito and Iranian Prince, Abdul Pahlawi.
