A spacious and airy apartment situated on the second floor of a traditional Gdansk apartment block, overlooking the charming Ogarna Street on one side and the famous Shakespeare Theatre on the other. Please note that buildings of this type do not have lifts. Ogarna Street is quiet and closed to traffic, yet within the historic old town. The apartment is comfortably furnished and features photos of old Gdansk. Guests are provided with information about the history of the Street, the apartment and the locality. Lots of storage space and superfast Wi-Fi. A kitchenette with microwave and electric oven, a hob with two rings, a fridge and dishwasher. A Nespresso machine is provided with a small stock of coffee capsules. There are pots pans cutlery as well as cups plates etc. The living area has a flat screen TV with multiple channels in Polish and English, (as well as access to Amazon Prime, YouTube and Netflix), a sofa and dining table with chairs. The bedroom features a parquet floor, a large bed with luxury fitted sheets pillows and duvet, (or two singles if you prefer) and an internet radio with Bluetooth speaker. The bathroom features luxurious towels, a walk-in shower and toilet. There is a washing machine with detergent provided, a clothes drying rack, iron and ironing board.

Konrad is a born and bred Londoner, Dorota a born and bred Pole. They met and married in London. Now both retired, Konrad is exploring his Polish roots with Dorota's help. The apartment was bought with the intention of providing accommodation for various family members wishing to visit them in Gdansk. When not so used, it is offered to everyone who wants to explore Gdansk from a base which is more of a home than a soulless tourist flat.

We are located within the old town and its many attractions, halfway between the old world charm of the river front and the modern Gdansk Forum shopping experience. It is just a street away from the major tourist attractions yet it is known for its quiet location. Easily visit sights of religious worship, eat in a cosmopolitan range of restaurants, view the distinctive architecture of the city, drink Polish beer and spirits, go on a cruise, visit the beaches.
