My life starts in the lap of mountains Gilgit-Baltistan. The location of my land has taught me to be strong to pursue my dreams. From a young age, my fascination with exploring new cultures, discovering unique landscapes, and connecting with people from different walks of life has shaped my vision for a career in tourism. I believe that tourism is not just about visiting places; it is a conduit for fostering understanding, bridging cultural gaps, and promoting positive global interactions.

Lavender Cottage Guest House Skardu offers visitors a homely atmosphere surrounded by lush green lawns with varieties of seasonal flowers and colourful roses. Our four comfortable twin rooms and two large suites provide decent accommodation in the heart of Skardu town. All rooms have facilities of hot/cold showers, drawing and dining rooms with internet and wifi connections. Guests can relax under the shadows of trees and enjoy their cup of morning tea or coffee. In our garden we grow organic vegetables and varieties of fruits which include cherries, mulberries, apricots, grapes, apples, peaches, pears, almond, walnuts, and a few more. These fruits are entirely for our guests and they are allowed to pick to their heart’s content. Lavender Cottage is the only guest house in town where our guests are served with pure organic food. For those guests who want to cook on their own we have a separate small kitchen with all the facilities where they can cook themselves and prepare their own coffee, tea or green tea. In addition, on demand, we can also prepare delicious local traditional Balti foods. Our library is equipped with travel, history and adventure books in English and Urdu which guests are sure to find interesting. Our knowledgeable guides can accompany you on several nearby short hikes up to the quaint Manthal village, the Ryonchumik water channel or to a small organic village next to the Indus river. We are located only at a 10 minute walk from main Skardu bazaar and a one hour walk to the Khar focho Grand Fort on the Rock, which is the most beautiful viewpoint. Besides that, one can go for a hike from here to the Buddha Rock and Sadpara lake, while Kachura lake is just a 40 minutes drive away.
