Company information

Mara and Martin are two easygoing travelers, filmmakers, and surfers, we are often in Baia Nest with our dogs and cats. We keep to ourselves, but if you see us around, you are welcome to stay for a chat. We love to design unique spaces where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Under our company, The Nest by the Sea, we host several pet friendly homes in Subic Bay, Zambales; and Gubat, Sorsogon. We're new to this platform, so please go easy on us! We have more booking options on AirBNB if you are traveling with pets or require a larger space.

Overlooking Triboa Bay, and nestled in an old and run down former Naval barracks building beside the Ilanin Rainforest, these SELF-SERVICE, recently renovated, 3rd floor apartments are a perfect base to explore the tourist attractions of Subic Bay. Our office is just across the street, and we have staff who may be able to assist you during office hours.

Neighbourhood information

Cubi is one of the residential hills in Subic Bay, a former US Naval base. Cubi is overlooking the water and it's a nice place to walk around to see the monkeys or watch the sun set on the bay. There are a couple of convenience stores nearby where you can get simple meals and basic necessities. For other needs, there are a few groceries and markets in Subic Bay CBD (Central Business District), about 15 minutes drive from the Agta Nest. Cubi is also a great place to watch for birds, bats, monkeys and other forest wildlife. Just down the hill, you can see turtles as they swim by the road in front of Acea Resort. Bat Kingdom is just a 5-minute walk down the road from our Nests. Guests can explore Cubi on our bamboo bicycles for a rental fee of P250/bike/day. We have 2 bikes available. There are several beaches nearby. Our favourite beach just a short drive from our Nests, Camayan (15 minutes drive) is a nice beach with a restaurant.
