Mara and Martin are two easygoing travelers, filmmakers, and surfers, we are often in Baia Nest with our dogs and cats. We keep to ourselves, but if we're around, you are welcome to pop in for a chat. We love to design unique spaces where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Under our company, The Nest by the Sea, we host several pet friendly homes in Subic Bay, Zambales; and Gubat, Sorsogon. We're new to this platform, so please go easy on us! Buenavista is a popular surfing destination in Gubat, Sorsogon. This small beach barrio boasts a 2 kilometer, grey sand beach, facing the Pacific Ocean. Bicol University is across the street from our house, and guests will walk through a field to get to the beach just 2 minutes away. Behind our house, there is a sea of rice fields, and it's usually quiet, except a few days a year when the farmers are tilling the soil. Since Gubat faces the East coast, the back of our house has a rare view of the sunset. Gubat town is a quiet little town with a few restaurants and a couple of bars. The people are friendly, and most locals can speak some English. Sorsogon has great activities for all types of groups and individuals.
