World-class surfing, renown for deep sea & shore fishing, a nesting beach for sea turtles, bioluminescent waves, whales jumping in the bay, and most importantly, a small & lovable community that offers a wide range of diversity in culinary arts to holistic and healing as well spiritual enlightenment. Playa Venao became one of Latin America's most desirable destinations for everything from relaxation to extreme sports & regenerative tourism. Come and see!
The benefit of us as owners is another unique consideration. As a chef, I need to have a good cooking setup, that we have. As an esthetic and enthusiast, my wife makes the interior design look awesome. My daughter likes sustainable and environmentally conscious designs, and this is driving us to implement the most responsible designs possible. Together, we like a place that suits our remote work and schooling needs and our love of the outdoors. We are also well involved in the community, making us insightful and educated hosts. The Blue Venao community design is a distinctive beach resort community emphasizing “walkable” neighborhoods surrounding outdoor green areas, a village center, and other fine amenities for the enjoyment of residents and guests. A private gated community with a tropical feel and Spanish Colonial style, featuring a Beach & Surf Club, resort-style swimming pools, parks, gardens, and a world-class beach, all in the picturesque crescent-shaped bay of Playa Venao. Inspired in part by the concept of New Urbanism, Blue Venao seeks to create a very special environment and community for the enjoyment of all who discover this amazing destination. Beyond the borders of the development of Blue Venao is a thriving community that offers an abundance of entertainment and activities. There is a sea turtle nursery and conservation project, Save The Turtles Playa Venao, numerous surf schools, yoga teachers in many styles, healing and health professionals offering massage, breathwork, ice baths; just to name a few. There are a couple of martial arts schools and some physical trainers too. The area is known as one of the best scuba diving spots in Panama, including the Isla Iguana Marine Park and the Frailes Islands. Nearby Achotines Bay offers great snorkeling at one of the largest coral reefs on the west coast of the Americas and an abundance of tropical fish species.
