Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman, an environmentally friendly location. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day. We are a work team from one family who live in the town of Al Wasil. We know the region well. I worked in desert tourism and camping before the year 2000, and I have experience in the terrain of the region, dealing with it, and the customs and traditions of the citizens here. It started in Sand Delight camp in 2009 and developed gradually.

We welcome you to Sand Delight Tourism Camp. We offer exclusive luxury tented accommodation in the exotic sand dunes of the Bidiyah desert. The camp is located 215 km from the city of Muscat. You will enjoy the Omani heritage and culture in our camp with modern comforts in a beautiful and peaceful seclusion. The camp is an ideal place to explore Omani desert life, culture and beautiful wildlife and gives you a stark and contrasting desert experience. The accommodations and services we offer are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the serene desert atmosphere. Sand Delight Tourism Camp is designed in the style of a traditional desert village with state of the art facilities. The camp has stunning open spaces, where you can watch gorgeous sunsets and sunrises over the dunes. You will feel that you are living life within the Bedouin culture in our camp.

Please note that if you do not have a four wheel drive please inform the camp in advance and preferably two days before. To arrange for you to transfer back and forth by SUV from the entrance to Al-Wasil area to the camp at an additional cost.

If you have a four-wheel drive you can access the camp directly and follow the signs to the camp. Please note that tire pressure should be lowered in the Wasel area before going to the desert.

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
