Come evening, spark up the BBQ to grill your fresh catch of the day, and share an alfresco meal at the table, large enough for the whole family. You won’t miss out on dining with a view on those mid-year getaways; the courtyard can be closed and an outdoor fireplace lit, to create a cosy space to eat and chat long into the evening. Make the house cosy and warm with the log burner before you settle in for the night. Two bedrooms in the main house have luxurious king size beds, while a sleepout offers bunks and singles. A generous sized bathroom in the main house provides conveniences for everyone, including a corner bath perfect for the kids. For an fun day here at Waters Edge Retreat, why not grab the kayaks for an early morning paddle on the lake, then come home and roll out the table tennis table or set up one of the many board games for some family fun! Or venture further afield to the Trout Farm in Turangi or the hot pools in Tokaanu, both less than 15 minutes drive away.
