THE PERCH is set in the stunning Far North approximately 4.5hrs from Auckland and 10 minutes from the harbour settlement of Pukenui. This super stylish off grid cottage has been built with every attention to detail and is well appointed to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. THE PERCH has been designed to incorporate a rustic lux vibe and is perfect for couples wanting to get away, re-connect and explore what the beautiful Far North has to offer. THE PERCH has a custom-made kitchenette, utilizing beautiful recycled Rimu timbers, a full size fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, super comfy Queen size bed with cozy linens, a breakfast bar complete with Gin station and a TV has been mounted on a gorgeous feature wall of more recycled Rimu. Outside you will delight in the dappled light seeping through under the bamboo covered porch. There is a natural wooden couch complete with cozy cushions to sit and enjoy those afternoon drinks and nibbles. Additional seating surrounds the herb gardens that have been specifically planted to take your cocktails to the next level along with an outdoor dining table and chairs. There is also a lidded BBQ to accommodate your BBQing and baking needs. Follow the paved path to the separate bathroom where you’ll find a fully tiled shower, hand built timber vanity, the loo and is fully stocked with eco body and haircare products along with sumptuous Linen bathrobes. Breakfast provisions are included in your stay along with complimentary beer and Gin on arrival. You can also purchase a grazing platter for 2 to enjoy with afternoon drinks.

My partner Corey and I run an 11acre off-grid lifestyle farm. We pride ourselves at being as self-sustaining as possible growing all our own meat and vegetables. THE PERCH has been a passion project of ours. Together we have hand-built every inch of this gorgeous cabin and we are very excited to welcome guests to enjoy our stunning location. We understand that holidaying without your for 4 legged family member can be a hassle when they are not permitted to join you so we warmly welcome you to bring them along. You will have your own entry and THE PERCH is fully fenced with farm fencing. For those wanting to truly surrender to relaxation I also offer indulgent facial massage experiences in my onsite STATE OF BLISS facials room. Let yourself drift away, slow your breath and let your skin be nourished with beautiful natural and organic formulations and healing touch.

There is so much to see and do here in the Far North – from the glistening white sand beach’s of Henderson’s Bay & Rarawa Beach to the glorious expanse of 90 mile beach – all within 10 minutes of THE PERCH. A must to tick off is of course Cape Reinga, only a 45 minute drive with many more star studded attractions and locations to explore on the way.
