A recently renovated holiday home located in Riwaka, The Old Chapel features a garden. This holiday home provides free private parking, bicycle parking and free WiFi. The spacious holiday home is equipped with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with mountain views. Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. Our self-contained two bedroom chapel conversion dating from the 1920s is the perfect place to unwind and relax with full kitchen, lounge, mezzanine reading snug, luxury bathroom and sunny patios and garden.
Many of the chapels original timber features remain and there's even an original 1900s chapel organ if you are feeling musical!
With my husband Paul, we run a farm in the Moutere Valley near Tasman, New Zealand, managing a herd of 16 re-homed Alpacas and three awesome Beagles - Henry, Sam and Penny.
Sustainability is really important to us, and our guest are invited to book a tour of the farm, hand feed the alpacas and learn all that we are doing in this beautiful corner of New Zealand.
Five Gates Farm is just a 15 minute drive from our accommodation - The Old Chapel at Riwaka.
The Old Chapel at Riwaka is a unique property full of character and charm positioned on the main road to the many activities in the Tasman region. Just a short drive to the start of the Abel Tasman National Park, the stunning beach at Kaiteriteri or numerous vineyards there is so much to see and do in the region.
