We want you to feel absolutely a part of our family while you are here with us at the "housewithnonails". That means you feel comfy, relaxed, and experience that "home away from home" safe feeling. We have been travelling for ten years exploring the world and living out of a suitcase and now we are the hosts. So comfy beds and good wholesome food is important for us to share with you. We know New Zealand and the local region really well and have lots of good information and local tips to help you in your travels. BOOK FOR ONE NIGHT STAY THREE AND EXPLORE THIS AMAZING CENTRAL NORTH ISLAND LOCATION FOR ITS BUSH, RIVERS, FISHING HUNTING, SMALL TOWN EXPLORATION. But most of all we want you to go away talking about the simple things- the lovely roast dinner by candlelight with strangers who became your friends. The firepit under the stars when you were wrapped in an old camp blanket and had hot milo in gorgeous clay vessels and homemade cake from the tin. That slowing down and just being together in the countryside chatting and exchanging stories. Welcome to our very unique handcrafted "homestay", set in the Waikato countryside New Zealand. Showcasing local trees forming beams held by hand hewn oak pegs. "housewithnonails"is 20 minutes from Hobbiton Movie Set emanating that old english style with a story!!! lime walls, wooden flooring, stone inglenook, copper sink, concrete benches, loving wrought iron features and hand picked hedgerow foliage creates its country chic interior. Breakfast on the lawn surrounded by the kaimai ranges feature Wairere falls and Mount Te Aroha bush walks. We have loads of local knowledge to curate a personalized stay with a central North Island day trip location. See geyser lands, take picnics on the beaches, kayak rivers, enjoy fishing and hunting trips, city gardens, browse small provincial townships for curios and coffee. Take a cider or vintage shopping tours, then return to enjoy a candlelit roast dinner retiring around the firepit with a blanket looking up into clear starry skies down under. Nothing is too hard to help match your expectations and passions to make this stay a totally memorable and amazing once in a lifetime stay!!! we even offer a longtable feast on the lawn

At first glance we look like a barn in a field underneath a mountain range featuring a waterfall and fields. Cows chewing cud and birds making nests. Its quiet and beautiful!!! you linger. But actually its a hugely central North Island location that guests come for one day and end up staying three using it as a base creating awesome day trips. They dine out or return for home cooked meals around candlelight sharing their story. Visit Hobbiton Movie Set,coffee in Tirau visiting Nottinghill Interiors then take "Waihou Springs" where the cleanest waters In NZ are sourced. Be guided on a river fly fishing, hunt in the bush, tramp old gold mining relics or take a chartered ocean fishing trip. Wander city gardens coastal towns watching the maori boys jump off the wharf and happy camping scenes near surf beaches, whilst enjoying an icecream. Take a picnic basket and find a river or beach all to yourself or a torch and descend into glow worms. Walk redwood forests, thermal wonderlands, soak in cedar tubs of hot mineral waters or creeks of natural hot waters. experience a steak and oozing cranberry sauce sandwich at the local cheese factory andVintage trails or cider factory tours.
