This Boutique Cottage Apartment is Luxury Accommodation for 2-4 Guests. Central location to explore the Bay of Islands.Most guests stay 5-6 nights because there is much to do. Boat trips,Fishing,Sailing,Golf,Waterfront Walks and historic Trust Houses and old Whaling Ports.We have Carriages and Horses still in use. There is a Jetty for your Boat or Kayak.Trip Reviews say the personal friendship and advice on things to do and places to visit is much appreciated. Come as Guests and leave as Friends.
Adrian and Sylvia were born in England and have lived in both USA and Australia before coming to New Zealand. Adrian is a keen Sailor and Ex Royal Navy. Today he Breeds and drives horse carriages as a hobby. We like to keep traditional skills going. His Business was Engineering and he still enjoys Vintage Cars. The Carriage House Bay of Islands is a great place for Horse Lovers and that includes Children.
The First Settlement in New Zealand was in Kerikeri and the old buildings are only a short walk from your Accommodation. There is a Waterfront Restaurant called the PEAR TREE. The Kemp House and the STONESTORE are open to visit. A short drive finds the WAITANGI TREATY GROUNDS where a good presentation tells How the Mauri and Btitish made an agreement. The History of New Zealand. You should go for a day sail on the BRIGANTINE TUCKER THOMPSON round the Islands.
