Overlooking the Hokitika River and the surrounding mountains, Rimu Lodge features a shared lounge area with a fireplace and a breakfast room with fresh fruit and juice, and homemade cereal. Free WiFi is provided and there is a guest computer available for use. All rooms come with insect screens on the windows, a flat-screen TV, tea-and-coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Some rooms have a terrace as well as views of the Hokitika River and the nearby mountains. Guests can borrow bicycles to explore the surrounding area. Rimu Lodge is a 10-minute drive from Hokitika town centre, where there is a variety of cafés, restaurants and bars. Lake Kaniere and Hokitika Gorge are both 30 minutes’ drive away. Hokitika Airport is 10 km away.
