12km south of Katikati, 25km to Tauranga & Mount Maunganui, 2 hrs from Auckland Airport. A rural property, smack bang in the middle of the best attractions in the Bay. Swimming, surfing, hiking, bike riding, kayaking, hot springs etc. Local waterfall & swimming hole. Easy day trips to: Hobbiton - Matamata Rotorua Waihi - goldmine Mt Maunganui, Waihi beaches. Waimarino water & adventure park Lovely peaceful country spot for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travellers.

We have stayed in B&Bs ourselves and realise that guests have different preferences for contact with hosts. We will normally be here during your stay and are happy to interact with you or respect your privacy. We have lived here for 15 years so will be able to give you some suggestions about what to do and see in the area.

We are lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful places in New Zealand. The Bay Of Plenty has great weather and close to many beaches and numerous walks. Our neighbourhood is mainly lifestyle blocks where people like us love the country life with its fresh air and fresh fruit and vegetables grown on site. All this and only a short drive to Tauranga or Katikati. There is very little in the way of public transport so a car is the best way to get around although there is a bus from Tauranga to Katikati and we can sometimes pick you up from there.
