Our accommodation is a fully self contained, spacious (65 sqmt), downstairs flat. Entry by side door, (please press door bell), no steps, then guests may park in the guest garage or leave vehicle outside. There is also a lock box beside entry door for those arriving late plus security camera. Sleeps 5 with a queen bedroom, 2 king singles and a single bed which can be divided by full length curtain, (see photo) thereby making it three bedrooms in the lounge/living area. All beds have electric blankets with the queen bedroom having a TV, reading lamps, dressing table and side drawers. The kitchen is complete with full cooking facilities. Bench top oven, stove top, fry pans, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer. Fully stocked with a selection of breakfast foods including various cereals, porridge, breads, tinned fruits and spreads. The breakfast is complimentary and self-serve. The lounge has a 50 inch TV, DVD with a selection of DVD's, chrome cast ( Netflix, YouTube etc. ), stereo & CD player. Free WIFI The bathroom has a heated towel rail, extractor fan, hair dryer, all toiletries & first aid kit. There is a guest laundry with washing powder, clothes dryer, drying rack, ironing board & iron. Although my partner and I live upstairs the flat is completely private to guests but we are always available if needed. Serviced daily. We are located in a quiet & pretty, tree lined, no exit street just 1.9 kms from the CBD, 15 minutes to Palmerston North. 2 hours to Wellington. We go out of our way to ensure our guests have a most enjoyable stay & make them feel SPECIAL. Park View 'Home Away From Home' really lives up to its name.

I'm a bright & bubbly, friendly person who enjoys hosting guests both national & international with many returning time and time again. My partner Ian & I have made many friends, a number of whom we keep in contact with sharing news & photos, since we moved from Hawkes Bay in 2005. Prior to moving we had owned a 25 bedroom motel. On purchasing our property here in Feilding Ian converted the downstairs area into a fully self-contained flat, which is often being updated & redecorated & we began hosting guests in 2006. I love hosting guests and having a chat & looking at their photos.

Feilding is a rural town with a population of around 18,000 people. It was named the Most Attractive Town in NZ 17 times. It is popular with families and retired couples moving from the big cities to enjoy a more relaxed easy going lifestyle. Also popular for one night stays for those travelling north south to catch the ferry. It is very pretty with tree lined streets & free parking. It has all the facilities one needs & there is no need to travel the 15 minutes to Palmerston North. The CBD is a 15–25 minute walk from here. There is also a bus service. One of the major attractions is the Manfeild Stadium and international motor racing track which holds the NZ Grand Prix. Also many other events including Feild Days in March, World equestrian events, many sports events, garden festivals, craft markets plus much more. There are many restaurants & cafes including Thai, Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Turkish, Murrays Irish Bar, The Farmers Son, Focal Point Cinema is licensed with lovely food. So plenty to choose from. Feilding has many parks & walkways, a swimming complex with both indoor & outdoor pools & skateboard area. Mini golf is on the same property. The golf course is just 5 minutes from our place. There are many historic buildings, the largest stock yards in the Southern Hemisphere, the Coach House Museum, & some lovely boutique shops.
