Executive brick home with unobstructed mountain and lake views on 11 acres. Ample room for parking. Private rural setting, 4km drive to Bell Block shops. 11km to New Plymouth cbd. 5.5 km to the foreshore walkway (2.9km to Bell Block walkway that leads to this) No road noise,Very peaceful Open plan lounge dining kitchen, projector room, 4 bedrooms 1 King, 2 queens and 2 king singles (cant select these in settings sorry) House is off grid with 30 solar panels charging the 48 volt lead carbon battery bank, topped up with a diesel generator. Gas for hot water and cooking. House is still the normal 240v with dishwasher, heated towel rails, heat pumps etc. you may hear the generator depending on power use and sunlight hours- November to March I run the heat pump on cold to ‘dump’ excess power we make. I do not sell back to grid as there is no cable. The house is also on a septic system so anything like cooking fat, oils, cleaning liquids as well as toilet paper all contribute to a capacity. Unreasonable use of toilet paper, dishwashing solids or oils an fats could cause a blockage, absolutely no disposal of sanitary products down the loos and this is monitored each stay.
