Hello! We're thinking about mid-late August - is that a good idea? Or is it really too cold? Are shops open in town for self catering, at that time of year? Would be very glad of your advice. With thanks, Lesley Chase
Hi Restaurants and shops open, so can self cater. Akaroa has a microclimate so August can we warm and sunny or cold. We seldom get a frost. Its luck really. It would be a nice time to stay as the bluebells should be out. kind regards nickyAnswered on 6 April 2021
