We all need that special spot to just chill out, unwind & unplug. Peaceful, with views of Mount Tutamoe, Lawson Cottage is just the place! A modern, purpose built cottage with full off grid amenities for you to enjoy. Breakfast pantry provided. Enjoy the sights and sounds of staying on a working dairy farm. Situated about 16km from Dargaville - 3 km of which is gravel.
We are farmers who appreciate the peace and quiet that rural life provides. We understand how important it is to "switch off" so have created this little patch of paradise. We like to allow our guests their privacy, so you may not even see us! However if you want to help milk cows or come with us to tackle a few farm chores, with prior arrangement we can do that.
30 minutes to Kai Iwi Lakes - a bit further to visit Tane Mahuta - the king of the forest. We are situated in the peaceful Waihue Valley, with views out to Mount Tutamoe
