We have just returned the cottage as a holiday rental following it being blocked out for 18 months as a long-term rental for our friends. It’s been described as an oasis of contemporary tranquillity, set on 100 acres within the Lake Okareka Village community. Relax, retreat, ride or revel in all that Rotorua and its surroundings have to offer. King bed in the living area and king single bunks plus single rollaway in the bedroom.
I trained as a physiotherapist and now work with the Aratika Cancer Trust to provide wellness and lifestyle medicine programmes alongside Mental Health Coaching. Our cottage is a retreat-like space with plenty of opportunities for adventures, as Rotorua is the playground of the North Island. Our hosting style has been described as warm, unintrusive with attention to detail. We welcome singles, couples and families. We live in the main farm house and are usually available to interact with guests who would like that . Otherwise your space is completely private .
Lake Okareka is a quiet rural community. The lake is approximately 250m from the property. You will need your own car as there isn't public transport available.
