The front gate sign says La Petite Ferme (the little farm). Drive up the shaded driveway to a cosy 3 bedroom family home with sleepout (4 bedrooms) . Your country experience begins here, just a short drive north along State Highway 10 from the roundabout at the entrance to Kerikeri. Set under beautifully full grown trees on a 3 1/2 acre property including an orange orchard, large park-like grounds and gardens all around the house. Ample safe parking space for your cars/boat around the house. Bedroom configeration for 4 bedrooms - Bedroom 1 with 1 Queen bed, Bedroom 2 with 1 Double bed, Bedroom 3 with 1 Queen bed and a Single bed, Bedroom 4 is the sleepout closeby in the garden with 1 Double bed (please arrange with me to have this available upon request), or inside is a foldout divan double bed in a large hallways (more suitable for 1 person or children). All of the above sleeps the maximum of 8 guests **Please ensure you enter your childrens ages when booking, thank you*** We also have a 1 bedroom self-contained studio that is available to be booked separately - "La Petite Ferme Studio Kerikeri", please check this out if you need additional accommodation.
This home is located in a rural area with lots of good places close by. The nearest cafe is set in a lovely garden shop and is just 2 minutes by car and then in town you will find restaurants to all different tastes and standards, a cinema, theatre, movie theatre, chocolate shop, art galleries, 5 Op shops for treasure hunting and plenty of main street shopping. The Kerikeri Saturday market at The Old Packhouse is famous both near and wide and a great experience. There are also 2 smaller Sunday markets. Groceries and fuel are available in Kerikeri which has both Countdown and New World and 2 petrol stations. A similar distance to the north on State Highway 10 (to the left when you go out the gate) and you have Waipapa, which also has petrol stations, groceries at 4 Square, The Warehouse, Mitre10, Bed Bath & Beyond, along with many other shops and a cafe.
