Situated in Castle Hill, 17 km from Broken River Ski Field, Forest Lodge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. 19 km from Craigieburn and 23 km from Porters, the hostel provides ski storage space. Guests can enjoy mountain views. At the hostel the rooms are fitted with a shared bathroom with a shower. Guests at Forest Lodge will be able to enjoy activities in and around Castle Hill, like hiking and skiing. Christchurch International Airport is 94 km from the property.

    "Forest Lodge is down a long gravel road and feels remote. The fire was on when we arrived and Hamish gave a friendly introduction. Kitchen had everything to cook, eat and clean, just bring food. Excellent wifi free of charge."
