Come and enjoy a unique stay at our little Lavender Farm nestled in the Kakanui Ranges. Sitting adjacent to the main house, you'll find comfort in your self-contained shepherd's hut, including private outdoor bath and shower. Take the ebikes for a tour around the surrounding areas, take a swim in the Maraewhenua River or maybe try your hand at some trout fishing. Finish the day with woodfired sauna and relax by the outdoor fireplace. Inside you have a comfortable queen bed, chaise lounge and kitchenette with fridge + sink + oven. Outside on the small undercover patio area is a large kitchen bench with BBQ facilities and gas hob. Multiple outdoor sitting areas to enjoy during your stay. The river is a short stroll along the bottom of the property, take your pick of swimming holes and places to do some trout fishing or just read your book. During your stay you will have fresh eggs available daily from our free-range chickens. Also, you will have complimentary tea / coffee / cereal / milk / butter. Pets are allowed to stay at an additional fee. This can be payable either by cash or bank transfer. Please let us know in advance if you would like your pet to stay.
