Surrounded by rainforest and mountains, Chateau Backpackers & Motels offers an outdoor fire pit, BBQ facilities. Just 10 minutes’ walk from the Waiho River, it offers free WiFi and free parking on site. There are also a number of restaurants within a 15-minute walk. Guests can choose between ‘pod’ dormitory rooms or private rooms with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster and electric kettle. Most rooms also have a TV. The pods feature a privacy curtain, a power point and a USB port. The property offers 2 communal kitchens,a deck, as well as a book exchange and video library. The tour desk can provide sightseeing advice and book local activities.
