Stardalen in Jølster is the place for those who want nature experiences or a good break from everyday life. Between mighty mountains and wild western nature you will find Stardalen Hyttegrend. We can offer 10 large, high-standard cabins with great views of the mountains and glaciers. Each cabin is 52 m2, and has a living room, kitchen, bathroom, hallway, storage room and two bedrooms. TV and fireplace in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher and all other kitchen equipment you need. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and washing machine. All cabins have underfloor heating in the bathroom, hallway, kitchen and living room. Outside there is a partially covered terrace with outdoor furniture. Bed linen/towels and final cleaning are mandatory with us, and are included in the total price for your stay. Our reception is at Stardalen Sommarkafe, 500 meters before you get to the cabins. Stardalen Hyttegrend is located in Stardalen in Jølster. The village under Jostedalsbreen National Park. Stardalen has many nature experiences to offer, here you can go on varied mountain walks on all sides. A well-known tourist destination is the Haugabreen. Haugebreen is an easily accessible glacier arm that belongs to Myklebustbreen, Norway's seventh largest glacier, located in Jostedalsbreen National Park. You can hike up to the glacier on your own, or book a guided tour with Bre og fjell. Stardalen Sommarkafe (our reception) is open every day during the summer season. Here there are opportunities to eat a good meal or just enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. A short drive from Stardalen there are many other activities, such as a museum, rafting, fishing, kayaking.
