Located on Lake Tinnsjå, this Telemark County property is 30 minutes’ drive from the town of Rjukan. It offers cottage accommodation with scenic views. Mini golf and a sauna are on site. Sandviken Camping’s cottages feature a cosy seating area and kitchenette with a fridge. Some also have a furnished patio and TV. Guests can choose either private or shared bathroom facilities. On-site leisure options include 2 children’s playgrounds and a beach area. Guests can rent boats, kayaks and canoes. Fishing is another activity that can enjoyed on the lake. June 2014 I took over the campground after my dad and now I am third generation camping manager and forth generation owning Sandviken. It is a dream living here. Meeting all the nice guests. I speak Norwegian, English, German, Spanish

We are open all year. You can fish in the lake. You kan hike at Hardangervidda. There are lots of activites to do around here. Sandviken is also very peaceful and harmonic. We wish you a nice vacation.

30 minutes drive, you are in Rjukan. Here you can do skiing, ice climbing, bungee jumping, hiking, visit Museum of 2nd world war, the industrial times and reindeer, climb the highest mountain in the southern part of Norway, hunt. The grocery shop is 10 minutes walk away. There are many possibilites when Sandviken Camping is your base.
