Totally renovated cottage with a beautiful outlook over the marina and fjord. Enjoy the full afternoon sun on the large outdoor verandah area. Large fire pit in the garden. Private quay which includes the use of a 14 foot boat with outboard motor. There is a 29 foot boat with skipper available to rent during your stay. 4-5 leisure and/ or fishing trip available for 2700 kr. There are also 2 electric cycles available to rent for 100kr each per day.
I spend 7 months in Norway and 5 months in South Africa each year as I am married to a Norwegian. I love traveling and use airbnb often to book my escapes.
Døvika is a quaint seaside village, situated at the end of the Eidanger fjord. We are 7 minutes from Porsgrunn town, and 1 km from E18. In the summer, Nystand beach is a 5 minute walk away, where Olavsberget diving tower is situated. Kattøya the island opposite us has a lovely blue route hike around it and there are always many people fishing on the walkway. Use the boat to explore the fjords that offers several small villages close by - among them Langesund with the famous concert arena - Wrightegården.
