Cozy newly renovated cottage in the center of Ål with living room, kitchen with dining room, bedroom, beautiful bathroom with new shower cubicle and toilet and loft with two beds. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and nice crockery, two hotplates and a new refrigerator, freezer, Microwave and coffee machine. Outside there is a cozy space in the sun wall and you have access to a fire pit. Plenty of space for parking. A hammock that you can hang up between the trees outside the cottage - for a relaxing afternoon nap. In the bedroom there are two good frame mattresses equipped with protective sheets, down and pillow. The beds are 90 * 200 and can stand individually or together as a double bed. In the living room you will find a small TV with the most common channels and mobile broadband if needed. In the river that flows past the cabin, it is possible to try your luck at fishing and there are many hiking trails (on gravel roads) right outside the door, and you can even walk to Ål center. It is about 5 km, so it takes about one hour on foot or about 25 minutes by bike. Please let us know if you have any animals. Max 2 animals and they have to sleep inside.

My wife and I with our two children (7 and 11) and two dogs are often in the next door cabin. We love being in Ål and hiking in the mountains or in the local area. The kids love to visit the climbing park, mini golf or to be in the mountain. They also really like to just play in the area around the cottage. We have vacationed there for many years ourselves and refurbished the cabin that we now rent out in the spring of 2020. We think it is nice to greet those who rent from us in the neighboring cabin.

The cabin is very centrally located between Ål, Gol, Hemsedal and Geilo and there are countless destinations and attractions to choose from. Quiet and peaceful location by the Hallingdal river. We prefer to drive up towards Vats and up on snaufjellet by Bergsjø or Votndalen. It is also only 6 min by car to Hallingdal holiday park with "High and Low" climbing park, Children's farm, mini golf, canoe rental and swimming area. There is a walking and cycling path all the way between the cottage and the holiday park - about 1h 20min on foot, or 30 min by bike. - or 6 min by car.
