Houmbgaarden has a history dating back to before the 18th century. You can read about who has lived and worked there on the notice boards in the Portroom. The farm has been restored in close collaboration with the antiquarian authorities, skilled craftsmen and with good advice from the technical agency in Røros Municipality. Houmbgaarden contains 4 apartments and 1 shop space.
