Welcome to Fanøy Island Lodge! My name is Kristine, and together with my siblings, we are the proud owners of Fanøy Island Lodge. The lodge used to be our family cabin to escape to, but after many weekends of hosting our friends and family, we decided to open its doors for you as well. Because why keep this beautiful lodge to ourselves, if we can share it with you? I have great memories from my weekends at Fanøy, and I’m planning on making many more. From reading my book overlooking the neighboring islands to enjoying dinners in the courtyard. I promise that you will feel completely relaxed during (and after!) your stay at Fanøy Island Lodge. Spending quality-time with your friends, partner or family here is like hitting a reset button. We put lots of love in our lodge and we hope you feel that too. Welcome to Fanøy Island Lodge. We offer self-catering apartments with a high standard, private balconies and stunning sea views. Each apartment has its own distinctive character and has been named after the surrounding islets and mountains. They are all well-equipped with what you need for a great stay, from cozy sitting areas, wood-burning ovens for the cold days, to well-equipped kitchens. The lodge is in a quiet cove, well suited for swimming, fishing and water sports. How to get here: It’s easy to get to Fanøy Island Lodge with the public boat from Florø. Route number 292 with Norled takes you from Florø Harbour (Florø Terminal) to Fanøy island (Fanøy Kai), with some stops at neighboring islands along the way. This scenic ferry ride takes, depending on which departure you choose, between 30 minutes to 1 hour. Plan your journey on skyss's website. You will get off at Fanøy kai. The island is best explored on foot, and it is a short and easy walk from the quay to the cabin. We therefore recommend leaving the car in the car park close to the ferry terminal in Florø. However, it is possible to take your car on some of the ferries if you need to. You must book a place in advance, and be aware that not all ferries will have space for a car. There is no designated parking space at the cottage, but street parking is possible. When you arrive by boat at the public pier, take the first road to the right and follow it for about 120 meters. You then turn left and follow the road for about 450 meters, turn left again. You will see a green gate on the left after about 35 meters. You have arrived at Fanøy Island Lodge. Welcome!

Fanøy Island Lodge is located on the wild and beautiful Fanøy, a short boat ride from Florø, in a small archipelago with islets and reefs, with the ocean as its nearest neighbour. Here you can enjoy quiet days on the terrace or on the jetty in our own private cove, paddle around the narrow straits in the immediate area and fish from the rock. You can also go on adventures with Fanøy Island Lodge as your base. The area is rich in nature experiences and Fanøy has a network of hiking trails well suited for discovering the uninhabited parts of the island. For those who like to go on mountain trips, we have several suitable mountains in the archipelago, which are easy to get to by rental boat or shuttle boat. Store Batalden is perhaps the most famous of the hiking destinations in the area, but you also have, for example, Blåkollen and Lille Batalden. If you are culturally interested, Fanøy boasts its own music festival! Havblikkfestivalen takes place at the end of June each year and also organizes a series of smaller concerts during the year at Batalden Ishus, which is within walking distance of Fanøy Island Lodge. The Saga Island Kinn, with its exciting history and verdant landscape, is also one of our closest neighbors. Here you can enjoy great hiking terrain, a stone church from the Middle Ages and every year in June, you can experience the popular Kinnaspelet. -A historical play that is performed magnificently between the rock wall and the church. The play has been a fixture on the program for the past 30 years and over 90,000 visitors have seen it.
