Its important for the customer to understand that this object for rental is nothing but a prepared parking spot for a caravan, a mobile home or RV (that has it's own toilet inside). There is however plenty of space so you can set up your own tent easily even if it is big. Its prepared such that the you can drive down to the sea and park 10 m away from the waterfront in front of the beach and the peer. The parking and camping site is the perfect place to stay a few days to swim in the sea, hike some of the spectacular mountains, fish in the sea from the peer. There are nobody else than you on this small camping site. It's therefore a great spot if you want to live close to the nature in Vesterålen and are in an adventurous mood. The property is looking southward towards the great "Haarnet Mountains". Midnight sun will vanish behind mountains in west approximately 22:00 There is a bonfire pan on the property, a robust outdoors table and bench for close to 10 people. There are also a few private boats that belong to neighbours (However if you talk to them you might be able to convince them to take you for a fishing trip if you offer to cover fuel ++). There is also a Peer on the property that is great to sit at and to fish from. Trout, pollock, cod and salmon have been captured there before.
The host is simply the owner and is not even of the location, but there is no need either as this simply is rental simply is the permission to park on the property and to use the scarce amount of facilities that is on it. Many people including the owner have already used this perfect spot to get as close as possible to the sea and nature in Vesterålen. It's really beautiful to sit here with your own tiny bonfire and gaze on the mountains and out this fjord. It will be fun to share it and to get reviews and learn if others enjoy it as much as us.
There is a few houses. The closest house is an old lady that lives alone and like to be left alone. Some of the other neighbors (Sortlandsveien 728 and 731) are really helpful if you approach them.
