The apartment is located by Bjørndalsvatn lake in Evje and Hornnes Municipality, approximately an hour's drive from Kristiansand. The apartment has a large veranda with nice view and a cozy living room with comfy sofas. Bathroom with underfloor heating, shower and washing machine. Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, induction cooktop and oven. Ifrastructure for broadband internet is not present in this area, but mobile connection i excelent, sufficent for instance for home office video conference. There are duvets and pillows, but linen must be brought. Guests must wash before departure. The apartment is easy to find. It's just a short detour from Setesdal. If you come here on road 9 from Kristiansand, take a right on road 42 toward Tonstad. Welcome!

Activities summer: Many hiking routes and paths in forest and mountain areas. Berries and mushrooms in autumn. The Bjørndalsvatnet lake and the connected Kosvatnet lake is a lovely place to explore by boat and there are several nice beaches and other good locations to go swimming. The Mandal river is one of southern Norway's best salmon rivers, the upper zone is only 15 minutes away by car. There are also many rivers and lakes right nearby where you can fish for trout and other freshwater fish. Go cart track nearby Evje (also around 15 minutes by car). The Evje area also offers numerous other activites like rafting, moose park, climbing park and more. Activities winter: Approximately 24 km to Eikerapen ski resort whit lifts for alpine skiing and many good trails for cross-country skiing. The Høgås Cross country skiing facility outside Evje is 28 km away. Other ski resorts are Ljosland and Bortelid located respectively 46 and 58 km away.
