Visit our comfortable, light and peaceful Waterfront Studio in IJburg, the modern island district of Amsterdam. The studio is located on the ground floor in our recently built house and has its own entrance as well as free private parking. The view over the water and the sunsets are amazing! In the studio, you will find a luxurious, new double bed (box spring), a private bathroom with rain shower and toilet, flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi. There is a comfortable fauteuil where you can read your favorite lecture and a sitting area to work, eat, drink, laugh and enjoy the fantastic view over the water. The well-equipped kitchenette has a refrigerator, oven/microwave and sink. Enjoy unlimited Nespresso coffee and tea and make your breakfast complete with freshly toasted bread. Optionally you can book our breakfast service. Having a healthy and delicious breakfast in the morning is the best start you can give your day! In the summer months, you can enjoy sitting and eating at the beautiful waterfront with its amazing views. Discover the architecture of IJburg, the nature, the harbor and beach and enjoy outstanding restaurants.

I always enjoyed discovering the well-known and hidden treasures of Amsterdam and surrounding areas. I’d love to share my knowledge with you and help you to make perfect choices during your vacation.
Located in the easternmost part of Amsterdam, IJburg consists of three reclaimed islands. The city’s youngest area (construction began in 1996), it has quickly become popular thanks to Blijburg, one of the best urban beaches for sun lovers, hipsters and hippies alike. But it also sates the appetite of those who love modern architecture and water sports. A land of wind and water, IJburg is made up of four man-made islands, with even more in development. The islands are connected by bridges along its main artery IJburglaan. IJburg is also connected to the city with a main bridge and a 15-minute tram ride to Central Station. A biking/walking bridge connects it to Diemen and Amsterdam Oost. Within walking distance of the Waterfront Studio there are nice café’s and coffee bars, trendy restaurants, all kind of shops, deli counters and boutiques. There is a cozy harbor and the city beach with the great beach club Blijburg.
