Our holiday home "de Amandelbloesem" is located on a lovely place on holiday resort "het Geestmerambacht". The cozy garden with sunshade, lawn chairs with pillows and gardenbench is located on the South. the garden is fully fenced so also very suitable for guests with a dog.( for additional cost welcome) The home is completely renovated inside end 2020 and equipped with new furnishings. The cosiness and comfort ( nice bed, good couch, nice shower, dishwasher, washing machine, 42" flatscreen tv, good kitchen inventory and comfortable gardenchairs and more) was very important for us . Mostly everthing you would wish at your home but now in a Holiday home. In the home we added accents of the famous painting "the almond blossom" of Vincent van Gogh. That is why we named the home "de amandelbloesem". We are very happy with the final result and hope our guests will enjoy our home as much as we do. The small holiday resort has an restaurant with terrace, playground, bike rental, midgetgolf, football field, volley-ball field,table tennis and some animals.

The home is very centrally situated for different activities in the surroundings. The small village Schoorl with his restaurants and terraces is only 2,5 km away. The Schoorl dunes where you can bicycle or walk throug the woods is nearby. The beach of Schoorl/Camperduin and Hargen with their beach clubs are only on 7 km distance. To the east of the home you can find recreation area "Geestmerambacht" with a big lake and lots of water activities and small beaches. Shopping is possible in the city of Alkmaar on 9 km distance where you can also go the cinema or do bowling. Or enjoy the flowerbulb fields in Tuitjehorn. For kids there is also enough to do in the surroundings,, mountainbiking, climb dunes Schoorl, horse riding,play park "de goudvis"(st maartenszeee) or public swimming pool Maarten vd weijden (Warmenhuizen) or the "duikerdel"(Noord Scharwoude) and offcourse the beaches and sea. For everyone there is something to do in the surroundings, young/old , quiet or active.
