Welcome to CortenHuys where you can enjoy peace in a wooded environment but can also enjoy the buzz of the city if wanted. This holiday home was built in 2022 from characteristic CorTen steel. Due to wheather influences the look and feel will change over the years. Located in the rural area of Twente and close to the city Enschede. The border to Germany is marked with ancient border stones and at the end of the road. The house has been equipped with all modern amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The entire house has floor heating which can be adjusted per room. The living room, open kitchen, toilet and 1 bedroom are located on the ground floor. The living room has a wood fired fireplace and there is a sofa bed of 140x200cm. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook. The bedroom has two singles beds which can be combined to make a double bed. The second bedroom and bathroom are located on the first floor. The bedroom has a large double bed. You can enjoy the beautiful views from the chairs in this room. The bathroom has a rainshower, double vanity and toilet. If necessary we can set up a bed for a small child upstairs. We will always make sure that basic needs such as coffee cups, several kinds of tea, sugar, spices, but also dish soap, dishwasher tablets and toiletpaper are present. On the terrace you can enjoy the wide surroundings from the jacuzzi, where you look away over the meadows, the forest and the adjacent frog pond. There are no immediate neighbors in sight, except for the squirrels. From our panorama sauna you can look away over the bocage landscape of Twente for ultimate relaxation. After using the sauna you can cool off under the bucket with rain shower.

We are Bas and Kim. We live in a beautiful small town called Boekelo together with our dog Dis. Both of us grew up on farms but as we live in the middle of town now we were looking for a second home surrounded by nature. We found this at CortenHuys. Because it is our second home it has everything you need. We do not want to keep this beautiful place to ourselves and want to share it with you.
