The Hoge Veluwe National Park is not only the largest national park in the Netherlands, in the middle of the park is also the Kröller-Müller Museum with the second largest Van Gogh collection in the world! Immense sand drifts await you in Kootwijkerzand, known as 'the Sahara of the Low Countries'. Just like Radio Kootwijk, a striking building that adorns the horizon which served as a transmission tower over a century ago. There is also plenty to do in the area for children. EuroParcs De Zanding is located near Apeldoorn where you can feel like a prince or princess in Paleis Het Loo, watch the monkeys in the Apenheul or experience an adventurous day in Julianatoren Amusement Park. For vintage shops and boutiques, a visit to the beautiful city of Arnhem is recommended.
