Our new barn house has combined old with new elements into a stylish rural living. In the rear part of the barn house, a spacious private accommodation has been realized, which is fully equipped. The plot of 2500m2 is surrounded by water and willows. Hence the name the Willow Tree. The view extends over meadows with beautiful skies. The accomodation and area is ideally suited for walkers, cyclists, peace and nature lovers who are also looking for comfort. Because its in the middle of the Netherlands, its the perfect retreat to explore The Netherlands. The atmospheric accommodation is spacious and complete, with a comfrotable homely hotel-chic feel. The Room: This spacious room with a Queensize bed, a sitting area, a TV and a refrigerator is on the ground floor. You have a private entrance, patio doors with a terrace on the water and an ensuite private bathroom with rain shower. We do not serve breakfast. There are free coffee and tea facilities and a refrigerator. There is crockery and cutlery, as well as an egg cooker and salt and pepper, should you wish to make your own breakfast. You can sit outside on the deck terrace on the water, where you can sit in the sun from noon until sunset. The Appartement: This has an open plan living room with a fully-fledged kitchen with delicious coffee, a milk frother, refrigerator, vegetable steamer, toaster, combination microwave, dishwasher and a 4-burner induction cooker. There is also a washing machine. The appartment hs a loft bedroom. Coffee and tea are free, as well as some free drinks in the fridge. Beds are made and towels are provided. Basic amenities such as toilet paper, salt & pepper etc are available. The accommodation contains brochures with fun activities, walking and cycling routes.

Cabauw is a typical polder village, where the buildings are located on a dike with a canal. There are willows along the canal. It is located in the middle of the Green Heart of the Utrechtse Waarden, in the Lopikerwaard adjacent to the Krimperwaard and near the River "Lek". We have endless opportunities for walking and cycling here. There are also beautiful nature reserves nearby. Cabauw is literally in the middle of the Netherlands and therefore centrally located. From Cabauw you can reach Utrecht and Gouda in 30 minutes, and Woerden is 20 minutes away. Rotterdam is a 40-minute drive away, but you can also choose to do this by water bus. It also stops at the famous windmills of Kinderdijk and Dordrecht. It is ideally suited here for walkers, cyclists, peace and nature lovers who want comfort. You can also grab a terrace nearby or enjoy a nice meal or for people who want to explore The Netherlands from a central location.
