Welcome to B&B de Elsterberg! The surroundings of the B & B are truly beautiful; from beautiful forests, heathland, floodplains and fields to majestic estates, museums and picturesque villages with many restaurants. The rooms are tastefully decorated and all have a different theme.

Our B&B is located next to the beautiful forests of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park, the Amerongense mountain, the floodplains of the Lower Rhine and the fairytale Plantage Willem 3. A unique combination of high-dry and low-wet. This, together with the height differences, gives spectacular impressions! Here you will find fantastic walking, cycling and mountain bike routes. Nowhere will you find such a pleasant alternation between culture and nature. Between the picturesque villages with restaurants and museums there are endless forests, heathlands and drifting sands. With the ferry you can reach the Betuwe or Rivierenland in 5 minutes. Our B & B is only suitable for those seeking peace and quiet and 20+. Groups only in consultation and under certain conditions. We use heat pumps and solar panels and as many organic products as possible. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

ust 250 meters from our B&B you can walk straight into the beautiful forests of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. The most beautiful walking and cycling routes run through the hilly landscape here. From our B & B, walk the 2.8 km to the highest point of the Amerongense Berg (61m high). On the other side of our village are the Prattenburg Estate, the fairytale nature parks Kwintelooijen and Plantage Willem 3. Many Galloway and Hereford cattle, Konik horses and fallow deer roam here. And of course the floodplains of the Lower Rhine, where you can cross to the Betuwe and Rivierenland in about 5 minutes with one of the ferries. There are many estates, castles, museums, the Grebben Line, Ouwehands Zoo with the only pandas and their first cub in the Netherlands. The beautiful villages of Amerongen, Leersum and Rhenen with its famous Cunera Church are a few kilometers away. Here you will find many cute little streets with shops, restaurants and cafes, which almost feel foreign due to the height differences. The heart of Utrecht, Nijmegen, Arnhem, Hoge Veluwe National Park and the Posbank are a half-hour drive away.
