Featuring a garden and views of garden, Langkawi Country Lodge2 is a recently renovated guest house located in Pantai Cenang, 600 metres from Cenang Beach. This property offers access to a patio, table tennis, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. The units are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fridge, a kettle, a bidet, a hair dryer and a desk. Prefer to be called Mama Yati & Papa Mas. The host is a couple imbued with so much love for each other that it flows out to touch each and every guest. No this is not “hospitality” love. This is real, authentic, warm-hearted, pure love. A Mother Love that folds the just washed clothes and places it at their front door in the guesthouse. That tends to the flowers blossoming in exquisite profusion and the herbs for the home cooking. A Father Love that transports his guests to places of attraction and builds the tables and chairs and a pondok in the field. Organises the coconut climbmathons. Plays chess like a champ. And continues to build using recycled materials. LANGKAWI COUNTRY LODGE There's no place like home it is said. Indeed there is no place like this.
ODE Langkawi Country Lodge Nestled snugly amidst padi field greenery dotted by white flecks of egrets. Cows graze in pastoral comfort serviced by birds in symbiotic gestures. The one bull in the paddock nearby ruminates consistently and occasionally turns and stares at cackling guests sitting in the thatched roof pondok. What is it about Langkawi Country Lodge that is special? Laughter emanates from its Kampung Café often as does music, live music from a ukulele or guitar or harmonica or percussion, as does poetry recited with passion and sing-a-longs of glee and harmony. Some say it is the food. The laksa lemak, dhall curry, nasi lemak, beef soup, mixed veggie soup all cooked with tender loving care. Maybe it is just the location. The breezy beauty of the site. The large tree that guards the entrance punctuated by the repetitive call of the Malaysian coucal. The closeness to the beach – just a 5 minute walk to Cenang Beach. And then there is the proximity to the hub of tourist activity on Cenang road.
