Good value for money. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean, and we had a balcony too with huge sliding doors (Executive Deluxe Triple Room). Hand soap, dental kit, shower cap, snacks and drinks can be bought at the reception. Ample public parking in front of hotel. No in-house breakfast available and no eateries in the immediate area ie. in the same block, but you can walk to nearby Petronas convenience store and McDonalds. Short drive to shops and restaurants in Taman Canning area. We had a comfortable no frills stay. Good value for money.

its good and so clean . They have insect repellent... its jus so nice and peaceful. A laundry mart. A shopping mart ... Security gaurds are so nice. the home has a rubbish plastics n bin outside covered . No Cockcroaches ... felt to peaceful ! Gas Stove but i would envourage to cook halal . respect someones home !

Beautiful underrated city with lots of good food. It's a food haven that's much closer to KL than Penang (and honestly I find the food here more authentic)
The traffic is much more laxed. If you're looking for a city that gives you the roadtrip-feel-goods, this is a good place.

Ipoh is a food paradise. My family usually come here for food trip. We seldom visit tourism places like those temples, because all almost the same., and to avoid horrible jam, we won’t choose to travel on long weekends holidays.
For short gateway, Ipoh is a great choice.

Ipoh town sights can be covered in a couple of days.
Ipoh town sights can be covered in a couple of days. Other sights are spread around the countryside so really need own transport to get the most from your stay even with Grab. Railway station close to Heritage Walk. Passenger, say Butterworth to KL, could get morning train to Ipoh,do Walk and have lunch, buy souvenir -support local businesses - then continue journey in afternoon. Problem, no luggage lockers at station but easy fix.

Liked the feel of the town.
Liked the feel of the town. The old colonial history without the mass tourism of Georgetown or Malacca. A sense of faded grandeur and arrested decay. Found some great places for coffee and food. Some funky shops and a good night market were fun. A good centre for trips out to the countryside and the cave temples. If travelling by train, easy walking access from the beautiful railway station into the town.

The host was very helpful, friendly and considerable. The 1st impression was great. The facilities provided were all useful during my stay. The house was super clean, has great smell(like a hotel smell) and away from busy roads. Although its a bit far from Ipoh town, u still can drive without traffic interruption. Furthermore, there are many shops nearby, a Mydin Mall & you can order food via grab or Food Panda without hesitation.. Another best part about the homestay is really in front of Surau..
Near to town, no staff at counter,but they will whatsapp you the ways to go in and check in yourself,I like this style of hotel, room so clean and peaceful,no noise at all, big and suitable when travelling at Ipoh, walk around 5min can arrive the most famouse chicken rice restaurant.Convenience to traveller
Good location with 20 minutes walk from Ipoh train station . Situated between old and new town.Can get voucher to go gym within few minutes walk from hotel.Very similar furniture and fitting room set up with Tune Hotel and I found out it’s used to be Tune hotel.
