It comfortably accommodates 6 guests. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Sandy Beach and the Sea of Cortez from this top-floor condo. Whether you enjoy strolls on the beach, swimming in one of the three pools, exercising in the resort’s fitness center, or simply hanging out with friends and family, then this condo is perfect for you!You will find the condo’s living area to be both spacious and relaxing. It has all the “creature comforts” you would desire - comfortable furniture for lounging, three NEW Smart TV’s, a fully-equipped and well stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds with fresh linens to enjoy when your day is over. In the morning, you will find yourself drawn to the condo’s tiled terrace to enjoy your coffee (brewed from either the single pod or the drip coffee maker provided) while marveling at the natural beauty that surrounds you. The terrace, with its own table and chairs, is sure to become a favorite hangout for you and your group as you eat breakfast and plan your day’s activities (which may include an afternoon “siesta” in one of the chaise lounges!). There are over 5 restaurants and bars within walking distance such as Ramone's, Changos, Banditos, Garufa, Sonoran Grill, and 1940's Breakfast and Lunch Diner as well as shops in the Majestic Marketplace!
Vincent, Steve, and Colleen are next-door neighbors in Oro Valley (Tucson area) and have been good friends for over fifteen years. Vincent wears several hats - supervisor of mining operations in multiple states, property development and management (Arizona, New Mexico, and Mississippi), and his favorite role - dad to a wonderful daughter. Steve and Colleen, married for 35 years and parents to three wonderful adults, recently retired - Steve from a career in laboratory equipment and Colleen as a science teacher. Vincent has been a frequent visitor to Puerto Penasco for more than 40 years and has loved its charm and beauty as well as the friendliness of the people that is found throughout the town. Steve and Colleen were “late comers” to Puerto Penasco, their first visit earlier this year. But once experienced “all things Rocky Point”, they were hooked and it was just a matter where to put down roots. The choice of Sonoran Sea Resort, with its array of amenities and spectacular views from our penthouse condo, fulfilled everything we could have hoped.
There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance such as Garufa Steakhouse, Banditos, and Changos- all located just outside the gates for great music and happy hour! There is also the delicious Sonoran Grill (next door at Sonoran Spa) and the onsite restaurant, Restaurant de Ramon, that will deliver to your room! Newly opened restaurants are located across from Changos in the Majestic Market Place and include a pizza/burger/wings place, Japanese noodle bowls, ice cream store, and a breakfast/lunch diner! Taxis are available just outside the gates for a night out on the town! Super Norte grocery store and Sam's Club are within a ten minute drive if you are in the mood to cook. And, there is a convenience store and coffee bar on the premises as well. The on-site concierge is happy to help you with directions and reservations for many fun activities from fishing charters to a private chef to cook for you in the condo! Walking Sandy Beach with its many tide pools to explore is a must-do. Keep a lookout for dolphins that swim by on a regular basis and whales visit in the winter!
