The team consists of workers and volunteers. The international and mexican volunteers are coming to Posada Girasol to get to know the city, help out at the hostel and meet other travelers learn and see other perspectives on the world. At the same time as they are trying to learn the language and culture through the workers, but also the travelers. With the workers and volunteers, we make up a big team, with different interests and goals, wishes and desires!

Posada Girasol is situated in the heart of Puerto Escondido. The hostels rooftop overlooks all of Puerto, the ocean and city on one side and mountains in the back. It is a perfect place to relax and meet other travelers in between your daily activities. The hostel offers daily activities as well, so you can get to know the town, see the beauty and the fun Puerto has to offer! There are different transportation options within walking distance, wether you want to go to different parts of the city or explore the surrounding areas. Also within walking distance you can find several beaches, sunset spots and international cuisine. The hostels design together with the location gives a unique mix of Mexican authenticity, a traveler atmosphere and nature appreciation.

The hostel is located right next to Mercado Benito Juarzes, a big market full of local vendors. This market has everything you need for fresh groceries, souvenirs and quick local food! The area full of local restaurants, corner shops and thrift stores, including local prizes, giving an authentic feeling!
