The construction of Acacia Stay properties started in 2020 by father and son both born in Malawi but are currently working in the USA. In 2016, the son saw a Facebook post of someone selling a plot and informed his father who decided to purchase the plot. The father made a trip to Malawi in the same year to sign paperwork for the land. In 2020, he teamed up with the son to start building their first block of four apartment units. When fully completed, the complex will have more than 16 individual units. Acacia Stay is been constructed by a registered construction company MDKONSTRUCTION which hires local builders to work on the project. The construction company has now expanded to build for other people looking for professional services. They offer services from planning to finishes.
